MAGA supporter Amber Rose has ignited controversy after targeting Megan Thee Stallion with her latest comments on the Harris Atlanta rally performance.
The former model did not mince words in expressing her displeasure, accusing Megan of pandering to the Black community.
After completing her Hot Girl Summer tour, the rapper performed family-friendly versions of her hits at the vice president’s first campaign rally in Georgia.
The Harris campaign drew over 10,000 people to the Georgia State Convocation Center on Tuesday (July 30), leveraging the power of rap to engage young voters in her presidential campaign against Donald Trump.
With a slew of dancers by her side, the Hot Girl Coach wowed the audience with energetic live performances of hits like “Savage,” “Body,” and the most recent hit, “Mamushi.”
Megan Thee Stallion also dropped her signature dance move, shaking her bum and waist, twerking on stage.
Following the “WAP” artist’s performance, several people took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize her suggestive moves. Some slammed the rally for being “degenerate because Megan Thee Stallion is twerking.”
Amber Rose has also taken to the internet to voice her disapproval.
During a podcast interview, when asked how she felt about seeing Megan Thee Stallion twerking on stage, she said, “I like Megan. I think that she’s a good person. I think that she is pandering to Black people. I think that she thinks that that is what black people wanna see in order to vote for her. And I think it’s absolute b.s.”
According to Amber Rose, the ‘BOA’ hitmaker’s performance took the black community’s mind away from “policies” that would “make America great again.”
“I think that people, in general, just want to know the policies,” the former model added. “All that extra stuff is cool, you know, like the concerts and stuff like that. But what about the policies that can make America great again? No pun intended.”
As the 2024 presidential campaign heats up, more celebrities are expected to take sides and use their influence to sway voters. The dialogue will undoubtedly be fiery!
