Azealia Banks is finally back on Twitter after Elon Musk announced his purchase of the social media app for $44 billion.
“Oh girlssssssssss lmao we are in this b—ch,” she captioned the post.
On Instagram, she wrote:
“I actually have to thank Elon for buying twitter, I actually got back on. The amount of money I lost by being banned from twitter and not having access to the fan/consumer base I worked SO HARD TO BUILD SERIOUSLY MADE EVERYTHING SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT,” she shared with her fans.
However, she still has strong opinions about the social media platform’s co-founder and CEO, Jack Dorsey. “I still think Jack Dorsey was racist AF for that. He knew it would affect my value as an artist because if I don’t have access to these channels to promote new music/new merch/concerts etc…. He could effectively stop my bag which is minuscule as f—k compared to his.”
Banks was last booted off Twitter back in 2020 after a thread championing believes farmers should be prioritized for a stimulus package from Trump during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In one tweet, she wrote: “CANCEL ALL THESE DUMBA— LUXURY TRANSGENDER HEALTHCARE ‘RIGHTS’ AND REDIRECT THE CASTRATION FUNDS TO THE LATINO FARMERS WORKING TO ACTUALLY FEED ANY OF US THROUGH THIS CRISIS.”
Banks continued her rant, but was accused of making transphobic remarks.
“THEY DESERVE ACCESS TO THE TRUMP COVID TREATMENTS MORE THAN ANY OF YOU A—HOLES NEED TO CHOP YOUR C—KS OFF AND GET BREAST IMPLANTS AND HORMONES. THIS IS BULLS—T.”
