In a deeply emotional video posted to her TikTok account @beauty2thestreetz, Miss Shirley said she has been missing from her usual outreach because she was incapacitated for days. She described feeling “extremely thirsty” and that her legs felt weak during a community event on Saturday before losing all memory of what followed.
“They said I continued to feed. I drove home. I woke up Tuesday… scared, bruising all on my arms as if somebody had grabbed me. My memory is completely erased,” she said in the video, adding that doctors could not confirm what substances may have been in her system because too much time had passed.
Miss Shirley explained that she is still regaining her strength and memory while her daughter helps care for her.
“It’s been extremely scary,” she told followers, noting that her absence from her usual routine of distributing donuts, hot dogs, and pizza was because she was trying to recover and process what happened.
