Beyoncé Paid $20M to Perform for 1 Hour in Dubai Next Week

For the first time in four years, Beyoncé is scheduled to perform her first full-length show at the Atlantis The Palm resort in Dubai, according to Daily Mail.

The Renaissance star will make her long-awaited re-debut on January 21 and will perform for an hour, the report says.

Furthermore, her performance will be to help promote “a huge luxury event.” The specific name of the event has not been revealed.

“The hotel has put on a range of massive performances recently, with Kylie Minogue booked in to perform on New Year’s Eve,” an insider told The Sun. “It is part of a star-studded line-up of celebrations the hotel is putting on.”

The source continued: “Invites have been sent out for the event with Beyonce — which is being billed as an hour-long performance — and it’s the hottest ticket in town.”

The source further said that popular music group Swedish House Mafia is booked to DJ at the show’s after party.

“Tickets are like gold dust and it will be a who’s who of the showbiz world on the night,” the source said, adding that the 41-year-old star was paid more than $20 million for the one-hour performance.

The news comes just months before the I’m That Girl mega sensation announced she would be going on the Renaissance world tour in the summer of 2023. The former Destiny’s Child singer broadcast the news during the Where Art Can Occur’s (WACO) fifth annual Wearable Art Gala in October. The tour is set to include “national and international destinations.”

The auction, starting at $20,000, included first-class plane tickets, a three-night hotel stay, two Renaissance concert tickets, and a guided backstage tour from Beyoncé’s mom and our auntie, Ms. Tina. Video from the event shows that bids started at $50,000. The winner has not been revealed, but sources say the package was auctioned off at $150,000.
