Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s amazing daughter, just showed off her makeup skills on her grandma, Tina Knowles, and it’s the cutest thing ever. This video is proof that Blue Ivy is definitely “that girl”!
Blue Ivy delivered some serious makeup skills, and this time, Grandma Tina Knowles was the canvas. The multi-hyphenate teen, who’s already danced on stadium tours and made Grammy history, is now casually stepping into beauty guru territory.
In a sweet, now-viral Instagram reel shared on Monday, April 14, 71-year-old Tina Knowles revealed that her granddaughter offered her a mini brow makeover because those little gray hairs weren’t cutting it.
“My beauty guru and my manager, Miss Blue Ivy Carter, has instructed me that I need to dye my eyebrows,” Tina said, looking every bit the glam grandma with fluttery lashes and a fresh blowout. “They have little gray streaks in them… and that’s what she’s doing!”
Off camera, Blue Ivy can be heard giggling as she expertly carves out her grandmother’s brows using an angled brush and dark brown tint. No mess. Just straight-up precision.
“I can’t wait to see the end result,” Ms Tina joked mid-makeover. “Because right now I look like Dracula’s mamma or something.”
But when the dye washed off? Magic. Tina Knowles’ brows were soft, even-toned, and matched her caramel waves perfectly.
“Usually, I have to get up and put eyeshadow in my brows,” Ms. Tina gushed, holding up Blue’s hand, which was adorned with long, blue French-tipped fingers, like a proud client showing off her glam squad. “But look at these Magical hands by the Blue Ivy Carter! I can’t get over that. I can just get up and go!”
Of course, Blue Ivy didn’t just leave Tina with fleeky brows. She delivered a confidence boost, too. “Happy Monday! Yesterday, my granddaughter Blue Ivy told me that I needed to dye my eyebrows,” Tina captioned the video. “They had a lot of little grey hairs in them, but I thought that the hair was missing. So she tinted them for me. I love them.”
From Grammy-winning performer to full-on eyebrow whisperer, Blue Ivy really is that girl. And yes, we’re booking our appointments now if she ever opens a chair.
Because when your grandma calls you her “manager” and “beauty guru” in the same sentence? You’re doing something right.
