Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood reality star Brandi Boyd and her husband Max Lux have confirmed that they are mourning the loss of their infant son. The couple, who shared the news on Instagram, have requested prayers during this trying time in their lives.
“We need you. We Love you. Send us a sign,” Boyd wrote in a touching tribute on Instagram. “Visit your brother and sisters in there [sic] sleep. Let us know your [sic] warm in heaven. I can’t believe I am typing these words. Pray For my Family #BabyLux send me the strength to carry on I have to be strong for your siblings.”
#BabyLux was born last November and was the last of the couple’s three children. He was born before term and had difficulty breathing at the time of his birth. Born prematurely, he initially needed help from a CPAP machine to breathe but was able to begin breathing on his own months later.
The infant’s father also penned an emotional tribute to his deceased son and posted it to Instagram.
“Pray for my Wife and my Family….we lost our baby yesterday and are facing the hardest trial I never knew existed…..Please be mindful of your comments to my wife tbh I wouldn’t of even posted about this but rather you get information from me then anyone else….Lil Lux passed we and the emergency response did our best to recessitate him.”
Thousands of fans and supporters flooded each of their comments sending their condolences.
“B, we love u so much! I am so damn sorry,” wrote Tameka “Tiny” Harris. “Sending u all the love & praying for your strength & peace.”
“I’m so sorry lil B please stay strong for your other 3 beautiful kids,” wrote fellow alum Hazel E. “We love you.”
