Cardi B knows how to turn a football game into a fashion event. When the Bronx rapper made an entrance when she stepped out in Chanel to support her boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs, at the Patriots’ Dec. 28 matchup against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, she didn’t just show up.
The Patriots dominated the game with a 42–10 win, but Cardi’s look was its own kind of blowout.
Dressed head to toe in vintage Chanel, Cardi pulled from the official Fall/Winter 1991 collection, wearing a tweed jacket and denim skirt set and styled by her longtime collaborator Kollin Carter. The outfit blended runway history with stadium energy, proving once again that Cardi doesn’t dress for the occasion; she reshapes it.

Her look leaned unapologetically pink. A bleach-blond wig framed her face in soft, billowing waves, while pink tights and matching heels added a playful punch beneath a gray mini skirt cinched with a chained belt. She layered a crisp white button-down under a pink tweed jacket, then doubled down on the drama with a gray blazer trimmed in pink piping. Every detail felt deliberate.
Accessories pushed the moment into fashion folklore. Cardi draped an oversized Chanel pearl necklace across her shoulder, paired it with pearl earrings, and finished the look with bright rose-colored pumps that popped against the neutral tones. Her makeup was full glam, clean but bold, with bouncy curls sealing the Barbie-coded fantasy.
Then there was the bag.
Slung across her body was a pearl Chanel minaudière that instantly stole focus. The piece, from Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2025/26 collection, is listed as “price upon request” on the brand’s official site, but elsewhere it reportedly rings in at a staggering $40,950.
Cardi later gave fans a closer look on Instagram Stories, sharing clips of herself showing off the fit and lip-syncing to Babysxsosa’s “Chanel.”
Vintage Chanel. A $40K purse. A winning team. For Cardi, it was just another day of making culture look easy.
