Cardi B launched her sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, with an extraordinary event that set a Guinness World Record, thanks to her collaboration with Walmart, Wing Drone Delivery, and Atlantic Records.
On the day of the album’s release, while fans eagerly streamed the music, drones were hard at work in the skies above. In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, 176 packages related to the album were successfully delivered in just one hour. This impressive feat earned Cardi and her team the Guinness World Record for the highest number of UAV drone deliveries in a single hour.
Cardi couldn’t contain her excitement and took to social media to share the news, jokingly asking, “Am I the drama? Am I the record-breaker? Both!” in her signature playful style.
The drone deliveries were just one highlight of the album rollout. Cardi also made personal appearances to promote the project while the drones carried out their groundbreaking task silently above.
Guinness World Records later confirmed the accomplishment, with senior executive Kylie Galloway telling TMZ Hip Hop that Cardi and her partners were officially recognized for the record. No other artist has executed an album launch quite like this, combining technology, marketing, and music into one unforgettable event.
