While Diddy’s three adult sons—Quincy, Justin, and Christian “King” Combs—were present at the federal courthouse in Manhattan to support their father, the twin girls remain in California under the care of their late mother Kim Porter’s close friend, Lala.
According to TMZ, sources familiar with the situation say that Lala, who has been a trusted figure in the girls’ lives since their mother’s death in 2018, has taken on a motherly role for the twins.
Though not a legal guardian, Lala has overseen their day-to-day activities, including their schooling in Los Angeles.

Diddy was arrested earlier this week on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and kidnapping.
He pled not guilty during a court appearance but is currently being held without bail.
