Doechii is treating her fans to a fresh batch of remixes and a new music video just before she kicks off her tour.
The rising star has collaborated with Kaytranada, Precious, and Von Boch for exciting new remixes of her latest single, “Alter Ego,” featuring JT.
Alongside these remixes, Doechii and the City Girls rapper have unveiled an alternate version of the music video for the track.
In the new visual, Doechii takes on the role of a mad scientist, creating alternate versions of herself, adding a creative twist to the already popular song.
The YouTube comments section is buzzing with praise for the unique concept.
One fan wrote:

In the previous music video, Doechii teased that more new music is on the way, declaring it the “year of the swamp.”
Earlier this year, Doechii and JT sat down for a conversation with Interview Magazine, where Doechii discussed her genre-blending approach to music.
“A dark-skinned girl like me, I’m doing a whole lot better than people expect me to. As far as boxes and sh*t, I don’t do that. I jump from genre to genre,” she said. “I’ll be making a rock song, then I make a pop song, then I make this, that, and the third. I don’t think I have to be super deep in all of my songs, but I also don’t have to be superficial all the time either. It’s a balance.”
The remix pack, featuring contributions from Kaytranada, Precious, and Von Boch, dropped on streaming services this past Friday.
This release comes just as Doechii is set to embark on The Swamp Ball Tour, with the first show kicking off in New York City on Saturday night, June 8, 2024.
