Comedian Druski has responded to Rubi Rose’s recent admission that their much-publicized relationship was nothing more than a PR stunt.
The rapper and model revealed the shocking news, admitting that their romance was staged for publicity.
In April, Rubi Rose and Druski turned heads when they seemed to confirm their relationship on social media, though plenty of observers were skeptical.
They appeared booed up in vacation photos, and he captioned his Instagram post with the words “Drubi.” Shortly after, the 26-year-old hinted that the two internet personalities had a fling in the Dominican Republic by posting a series of images on her Instagram profile in which she is wearing a barely-there swimsuit.
Currently, that post is no longer available in his feed. Rubi also appears to have deleted a few photos with Druski from her Instagram account.
Rose revealed on Instagram that she had been celibate for the past two months. Fans wondered if her ex-boyfriend, Druski, had anything to do with her new celibacy journey.
Rubi took to X with a series of since-deleted posts on Tuesday morning (September 17) to speak her piece.
“And for the record, I never slept with that man; ngga paid for PR,” she said. “Not the pssy. He is funny and nice, tho! I only give it up if I’m in love, ion care how much money a n*gga got. I’m rich asf lol.”
The internet went crazy following Rubi’s confession, with fans speculating on how Druski would react. Never one to shy away from a good time, Druski took to social media to express his thoughts on Rubi’s unexpected admission.
He posted the film poster for Christina Milian and Nick Cannon’s Love Don’t Cost A Thing on his Instagram Story, jokingly superimposing his face over Nick’s on his Instagram story.
Throughout their alleged relationship, the two were seen together at events and even exchanged flirtatious social media messages, fuelling speculation that they were an item. Fans believed they were witnessing a blossoming romance between the rapper and the comedic star, but Rubi revealed that it was all part of a larger publicity campaign.
