Entrepreneur Pinky Cole, founder of the popular Slutty Vegan food chain, has rewarded two of her longtime employees, Angel and Miesha, with their very own Slutty Vegan restaurant.
The two team members, who have been with Cole since the brand’s inception, will become the first-ever licensees of the Slutty Vegan franchise, with the new location set to open in Jonesboro, Georgia.
This announcement marks a significant milestone for Cole and her brand, which launched in 2018 and quickly gained a massive following for its plant-based burgers.
” Since 2018, Before all the stores, the lights and the scaling, Angel and Miesha put blood, sweat and tears in my business. Angel was running the logistics and Miesha ran operations. I couldn’t have done any of this without them… So now I want to make their dreams come true.
“I am no longer the only entrepreneur at the table,” she posted on Instagram.
What started as a shared kitchen has grown into a $100 million business, with 14 existing locations, including one at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the busiest airport in the U.S.
Cole’s commitment to giving back is a core part of her brand, and her decision to empower Angel and Miesha reflects her dedication to uplifting those who have supported her from the beginning.
Over the years, Cole has also supported families in need, gifted businesses to students, and donated millions to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
The announcement was made on the 6th anniversary of Slutty Vegan, highlighting the journey from its humble beginnings to becoming a celebrated name in the vegan food industry.
Cole’s decision to make Angel and Miesha restaurant owners is a testament to the strong relationships she has built with her team as the brand continues to expand.
