Kristy Scott is letting her audience see her as she is, not as she performs after filing for a divorce. And right now, that looks quieter, shakier, and far more honest than the polished clips many followers are used to.
In her first solo video since divorcing husband Desmond Scott, the Houston-based influencer documented something simple. A grocery run. Standing in Whole Foods, dressed to the nines as usual, Kristy opened up about navigating what she called her “new unexpected chapter,” admitting she felt visibly anxious just being there.
“This is my first time grocery shopping with this new unexpected chapter,” she shared, her voice unsteady. She said her nervous system was shot.
Kristy acknowledged that fans have been asking when her funny, chaotic content will return. Her answer was simple and disarming. She’s not there yet. Instead, she said she wants to share “the raw, the real, the ugly” of her transition, even if that means sitting in discomfort in front of millions.
Still, she found humor where she could. As she pushed her cart down the aisles, feathers from the sleeves of her cocktail dress floated off, a visual reminder that even in upheaval, she remains herself. Overdressed and able to laugh through it, even briefly.
Much of the trip centered on her children. She mentioned repeatedly that she was shopping with her boys in mind, grounding herself in the responsibility that hasn’t changed, even as everything else has. Freedom, she admitted, showed up in unexpected ways. Choosing groceries on her own felt different. New. But her focus never drifted far from motherhood.
Throughout the video, Kristy paused to acknowledge the support surrounding her. Strangers offered kindness in passing. Followers flooded her messages with encouragement and shared stories of their own divorces and rebuilds. She said she may not always respond, but she sees them. And they matter.
What stood out most was her refusal to frame the divorce as a spectacle. She stressed that there is no drama. No public war. She described this phase as the start of a new decade, a period of learning herself again while doing the best she can for her children.
Since filing for divorce on December 30, 2025, Kristy has shared glimpses of new beginnings, including a recent YSL campaign. But this grocery store video marked something different. It was the first time she allowed fans to see how she’s coping.
“All is well,” she said. “It’s just a lot of change at once.”
