Former journalist and creator Jeannette Reyes has officially released her new book, Primed to Pivot, a 75-page blueprint designed to help people navigate life’s turning points with clarity and confidence.
Reyes, widely known on social media as @msnewslady, describes the book as part story, part guide, and part journal. It combines her personal journey of leaving behind over a decade in journalism with practical tools that helped her transition into building a seven-figure business in her first year as a creator.
“This isn’t just a book,” Reyes wrote in her announcement. “It’s 75 pages of clarity, courage, and everything I wish I had when I was navigating my own pivot. The disappointments, the detours, the moments that made you question yourself, have been preparing you for this moment.”

Through the book, readers are encouraged to identify their pivot archetype, release limiting mindsets, and chart a forward path that transforms uncertainty into possibility.
Reyes explains that pivots aren’t setbacks but declarations of readiness: “Primed doesn’t mean perfect. It means ready. Ready to stop asking for permission and start answering your own call.”
In a video message shared alongside the launch, Reyes reflected on her decision to leave journalism.
“For over a decade, journalism was my dream—the breaking news, the long hours, the privilege of serving the public. Then I chose to walk away, not because I stopped loving it, but because I knew the dream had evolved,” she said.
The book, available now through the link in her Instagram bio, has been positioned as both a personal reflection and a motivational resource for anyone at a crossroads.
