GloRilla is in the middle of a fresh leaked track taking shots at both Young Thug and his girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist. If the lyrics are real, she didn’t just throw some light shade; she delivered some serious burns.
On the snippet, which was shared on Twitter by the cultural account Kurrco, GloRilla can be heard laying down bars on a remix of Hot Stylz and Yung Joc’s classic “Lookin Boy.” She goes hard at Thug with lines like:
“Snitch ain’t still beat the case lookin ass n* Big freaky lookin ass n*
Give lil kids a fright lookin ass n* Tootsie roll with dreads lookin ass n*”
Oof. And it didn’t stop there. GloRilla seemingly took aim at Mariah as well, mocking her on the same track.
This is raising eyebrows because it comes on the heels of a leaked jail call where Young Thug himself had something to say about GloRilla’s appearance during a private conversation with Mariah. In that call, Thug was heard saying, “That bh ugly as fk… I would not pursue her. Like at all… Big-a** head, big mouth. That s**t ain’t nothing.”
Fans quickly noticed the disrespect, which led Glo to respond on Twitter almost immediately. In a cheeky tweet, she wrote, “Mind you dis da same n**a blowing my phone up to ask what color my eyes is lmaooo.”
Now with this new track making waves, many think she’s escalating the feud to the recording booth.
To be fair, Young Thug has since apologized publicly, admitting he was wrong and that he was just having a tough time when he made those comments. He reached out to GloRilla, saying, “@GloTheofficial, first of all, I’m sorry to u for my words, and I honestly don’t think ur ugly at all… I don’t like bashing girls and hardly ever did. I’m sorry to u, twin.”
Now, the big question is: did GloRilla actually record this diss track, or is the internet getting tricked by some AI-generated content?
However, if this track is real, GloRilla has once again shown she isn’t afraid to go hard with her lyrics.
