Jennifer Lopez’s mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez, eager for her daughter to move on from Ben Affleck, believes the singer is losing herself amidst rumors of marital strife.
According to sources, Rodríguez advises Lopez to “cut her losses” rather than prolonging what appears to be a troubled marriage.
Speculation about a potential divorce between Lopez and Affleck has intensified in recent weeks, prompting family members, including sisters Leslie Ann and Lynda, to voice concerns that Lopez has veered from her true self.
While the status of their marriage remains uncertain, insiders suggest familial support for Lopez to prioritize her children and career over salvaging the relationship with Affleck.
According to recent reports, Rodríguez is concerned that ongoing rumors about the state of Lopez’s marriage to Affleck are taking a toll on her daughter’s well-being.
Recent weeks have seen persistent rumors of Lopez and Affleck’s marriage being on the brink of collapse, with many anticipating an imminent split.

“Jennifer’s mom told her, ‘Cut your losses and move on to avoid getting any deeper in this mess.'”
The source also mentioned that Rodríguez expressed regret about her daughter’s years spent in a relationship with Affleck, hinting at Lopez’s previous engagement to Affleck and subsequent marriage.
“He was not the person she built him up to be,” the insider continued. “It’s taken too much of a toll on her, and because of this, she has lost sight of who she is and what she stands for.”
Lopez’s sisters, Leslie Ann and Lynda, are reportedly supportive of their mother’s concerns about their sister’s well-being amid her marital difficulties.
“Jennifer currently feels like Ben does not deserve her, and her sisters agree,” the insider added. “They want Jennifer to be happy, but they feel she’s lost sight of herself in what was supposed to be.”
While it remains uncertain who might initiate divorce proceedings between Lopez and Affleck, the source indicated that Lopez’s sisters are urging her to take action.
