Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé Knowles Carter are beyond BFFs, who have supported each other throughout their illustrious careers, but in a recent interview, Kelly opened up about one of the biggest mistakes she made in her career – and it involves Beyoncé.

On the Yeah, I F**ked That Up” podcast, the show’s host Billy Mann asked her what was the biggest mistake she made during an interview, to which she replied that revealing the gender of Beyoncé’s baby was her “worst moment ever.”

“Oh my God. When I made a mistake and told the sex of [Beyoncé]’s baby when she was pregnant with Blue,” Rowland said. “That was the worst moment ever. The worst moment ever.”

In 2011, Rowland was asked about how Beyoncé’s pregnancy was coming along but dished a bit too much.

“[Jay-Z is] “going to buy that little girl every single thing possible,” adding that the couple’s firstborn child won’t “be spoiled but she will be very well looked after.”

Recalling on the interview, Kelly admitted that she did not know she revealed the baby’s gender until after the interview ended.

“It was bad because it was no one’s business,” Kelly said. “I felt terrible because it’s not my news. It was honestly the worst. It wasn’t my news to share, and I didn’t mean it like that. The ‘she’ just kind of slipped out.”

Earlier this month, Shine My Crown reported that Kelly and B were in the beginning phases of spearheading a housing complex in their hometown of Houston.

Houston officials announced that the pair would create a permanent housing structure and donate $8.4 million to undergo the project. The American Rescue Plan has also contributed $7.2 million in addition to Rice University and other donors who will support the construction of the homes.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the complex will come equipped with 31 units to be built at the Bread of Life gymnasium.

During a press conference announcing the news, Judge Lina Hidalgo said this is just the beginning. She added that there will be a “bigger launch” in September when Beyoncé comes to Houston for a stop on her Renaissance World Tour.

According to county records, the housing project will offer case managers, peer specialists, service specialists, mental and behavioral health assistance and transportation, among other services.
