Love Is Blind contestant Lauren Speed and her husband Cameron Hamilton have launched their very own YouTube channel – much to the delight of their fans.
The Netflix show premiered last month over Valentine’s Day week and aimed to answer the age-old question, “Is love blind?”
It seems that it is.
After just days of speaking through a wall in an enclosed pod, Hamilton popped the question to Speed — and the pair only laid eyes on each other after she accepted his proposal.
Afterward, the couple would spend the next few weeks deciding whether they’re ready to walk down the aisle, but even the viewers can tell that it was a case of love at first speak.
During an interview with Glamour last week, Speed spoke of the challenges they faced together after filming for the series ended.
“Because once the TV cameras go away, then what? For me, it was really important to just focus on what Cameron and I were doing and not, ‘Oh, this is a TV show.'”
Hamilton adds, “We knew we had to be completely transparent if this was going to work. It sounds clichéd, but that’s the truth. You have to communicate. You have to really lay it all out there; otherwise, it’s going to fall apart.”
“In this channel, we’re gonna talk about everything in our lives, the different elements that make it up, whether it’s our family, friends, dinner, drinks, cocktails, you know what I’m talking about,’ Cameron shared with viewers.
Lauren added: “Our little fur baby Sparks, we’re dog parents now, we have a lot to talk about, traveling, social life, there’s just so much guys. Oh, relationships – we can’t leave that out! Married life…even interracial relationships, Black women stuff, fine white man Cameron stuff!”
