Speaking with Big Tigger on The Big Tigger Morning Show on Monday (Jan. 22), The global icon in the music industry confirmed plans to enter the footwear industry.
“Where is the boot line,” pressed the radio host.
“It’s coming… It’s a thing,” the 53-year-old confirmed, revealing that they hadn’t started production.
When asked about her relationship status, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul coyly shared, “No, I’m not single. I’m happily doing what I’m doing.”
Once again, the identity of her new beau is still tightly under wraps as she didn’t divulge information about the mysterious man.
Mary J Blige also touched on how she had contributed to the growth of her music genre and how her legacy should be remembered.
“I guess that I gave a lot. I gave so much. I gave my life. My life story. Yeah, I gave a lot. I was a giver. I opened the doors. It’s what I’ve done since 1991 when I came in.
“From generation to generation, it still exists. Hip-hop soul is super important. I have given women a voice. Every woman wants to tell their story now because I told mine,” she said in a heartfelt speech.
The “Real Love” singer noted that she had “no regrets” about her life and the decisions she had to make.
