Megan Thee Stallion was the one to watch on Tuesday night’s 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards, as she took home three awards, including hip hop artist of the year.
Megan’s collab with Beyoncé, “Savage” (Remix), won best collaboration and best featured verse. The win is a first for an all-female collab.
Since the Houston rapper signed with Roc Nation, Megan says her relationship with Bey is exceptionally close.
“In the first five minutes of the conversation, I felt like I’ve been knowing her all my life,” Megan said in her cover story with Variety. “She treated me like family, and now I feel like I am family. We talk all the time.”
