Osaka, competing in her seventh appearance at the Paris tournament, secured a 1-6, 6-4, 7-5 win over Bronzetti, showcasing her determination and skill on the court.

“There were moments I played pretty well, but I was pretty nervous and got really tight,” said the No. 134-ranked Osaka of her hard-fought victory during an on-court interview.
With her daughter Shai by her side, Osaka is set to face tough competition in the next round, potentially against current world No. 1 Iga Swiatek.
The victory marks Osaka’s return to top-level tennis after taking time away to welcome her daughter into the world.
