Just months after finalizing her divorce from a previous marriage, Chanel Imam has just announced she is expecting her third child – the first with her hubby, NFL star Davon Godchaux.
“Our family is growing and we are so excited to meet our new little one,” Chanel wrote on Instagram, which features images from her maternity photo shoot. In another post, she wrote “God is great! It’s all been a blessing.”
In the pictures she shared with her 3 million followers, she is seen wearing a white crop top and matching skirt while Godchaux holds her exposed baby bump. He, too, wears all white: a button-down collared linen shirt and matching pants. Both are barefooted. Her hair is perfectly worn down in loose curls that fall just above her shoulders.
Godchaux, a defensive tackle for the New England Patriots, commented on the post, writing “It’s nothing like a strong woman.”
He further hinted at possibly tying the not with the model, stating “My love my everything! Soon to be mine forever,” with heart emojis and the engagement ring emoji.
Godchaux, who is the father to a son from a previous relationship, and Imam, who shares two daughters from her previous marriage to Sterling Shepard, first confirmed their relationship in April 2022 when Imam made it Instagram official by posting a picture of her wrapped around his arms while he kissed her cheek. The caption simply read a heart emoji and an upside-down smiley face. Davon took to the comments to write “I love you.”
Imam and Shepard split in 2022 after four years of marriage. They share two daughters, Cali, 4, and Cassie, 3. At the time the divorce was announced, a source told E! News that the couple were “trying to work out their plan on how they will co-parent their daughters peacefully.”
On Valentine’s Day, Godchaux shared a heartfelt tribute to Imam with a reel of romantic moments the couple shared throughout the world.
“What’s life without A beautiful woman by your side!” he wrote.
