Olivia Nelson – “Smother Me”

by Yah Yah

Last month, the UK based singer-songwriter released a brilliant new soulful single “Smother Me” produced by Jarreau Vandal, which was premiered in the UK by BBC Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Target as UK Unsigned and now at 200K plays on Youtube.

This single follows her release in January, the ultra breezy “Hideaway” also a collaboration with Dutch beatmaker, Vandal.

Her jazzy vocals are something to behold.

“Who cares if we move too fast?/ It’s hard not to do when the chaser is you/ Came from out of the blue/ Making love as the sun sets/ I’m in ecstasy when you’re next to me/ I’ll let your love cover me/ Left your mark without a bruise/ The thrill of having so much to lose/ I feel at home when I’m with you/ I want your unprotected love/ Give me all your unprotected love/ I’m foolish, so foolish/ But I can’t get enough”

We’re digging Olivia Nelson’s soulful vibe. Check out the single below.
