Spiritual teacher and purpose coach Sarah Adams is bringing peace to timelines and hope to waiting hearts with her warm message.
In a recent video shared on social media, Adams urged her followers to embrace life’s delays not as setbacks, but as sacred setups—part of what she calls “divine alignment.”
Known for guiding women through personal healing and transformation under her signature mantra “become a Lotus—heal deeply, evolve to purpose, and rise rooted in love,” Adams is once again encouraging believers to trust God’s timing over their own.
“Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean God said ‘no,’” Adams posted. “Sometimes, the delay is His way of protecting, preparing, and positioning you.”
In the accompanying video, Adams shared a chilling real-life encounter from her job as a supervisor at a major U.S. airline. A woman who missed her international flight to India confided in Adams that the flight she was scheduled to board crashed, killing nearly everyone on board.
“She told me, ‘I was supposed to be on that flight. But I got delayed,’” Adams recalled. “I told her, trust God’s plan. There’s a reason you didn’t get on that aircraft. That delay saved your life.”
The message has struck a powerful chord online, especially among faith-driven audiences navigating waiting seasons in their careers, relationships, and personal growth.
Adams pointed out that inconvenience—whether a canceled flight or a delayed dream—can be a spiritual redirection, not a punishment.
“If it doesn’t happen, it’s because something better or safer is ahead,” she said. “Even if you don’t believe in God, trust that things happen for a reason. The ‘no’ you’re experiencing might just be a divine ‘not yet.’”
For Adams, wholeness isn’t a final destination but a continual unfolding, and trusting the process is the first step to purpose.
