“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams is thinking about skipping the next season of the show after the controversy surrounding her recent engagement.
According to B Scott, Porsha is “seriously considering” not returning to the show. The outlet says that that the network wants her to stay, but Porsha is not feeling the “negativity” surrounding her engagement to Simon Guobadia.
“Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most,” Porsha wrote on Instagram in May.
But she was given a hard time as people felt she broke girl code by dating Falynn Guobadia’s ex. The pair appeared to be friends on the show.
She thinks there is a chance producers could be messy with the editing or potential storyline too.
Despite rumors that Kandi Burruss could be getting the chop, she will be returning to the show. Kenya Moore is also returning and it’s being rumored that Marlo Hampton may also be offered a peach.
Simon says he is blissfully happy.
“I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL of each other’s boxes, and then some. We have done the individual work to sustain a healthy relationship, and I stand next to her, proud that we found each other,” he wrote at the time. “What we have is what we wish every single one of you out there – happiness. So when I asked…she said yes. That is ALL that mattered. Thank you again for your love and support. Truly appreciated. #lovewins.”
It has not been confirmed whether Cynthia Bailey will be returning to the show, but Sheree Whitfield will be.
