BEVERLY HILLS — A doctor has filed a lien against rapper Sandra Denton of the iconic rap group, Salt-N-Pepa — over money she allegedly owes for a Brazillian butt lift.
According to documents obtained by RadarOnline, Dr. David Sayah, who resides in Beverly Hills, is seeking $676,675 for services rendered.
Denton currently has a lawsuit against Uber over a car accident she was involved in. Sayah wants to be able to collect the funds owed from any payouts she receives.
Denton sued the ride-sharing app and several other drivers involved in a car accident which occurred n July 1, 2018.
Denton says she was in a friend’s car traveling near Sherman Oaks when they were hit from behind because an Uber driver was following their vehicle too closely.
Denton claimed the crash caused the injections in her buttocks and hips to shift. Which, as one could imagine, would be extremely painful.
Sayah was hired to remove the material from her body to make her more comfortable, but Denton says that the doctor then convinced her to swap out her butt implants with smaller implants and undergo a liposuction procedure. But she says the surgery was botched, and she was forced to additional corrective surgery. She another surgery caused her butt to “harden up” — which led to difficulties performing on stage.
The reality television star says that despite the surgeries, there is “large amount of biopolymer silicone and a dead scar tissue are still remaining in her buttocks.”
Being a celebrity does come with a lot of pressure to maintain a certain look. The BBL is the latest trend.
In her book, “Let’s Talk About Pep,” she opened up about fashion mistakes becomes modern trends.
“We had fashion errors that became hits,” she writes. “We were bold with our colors and tights and being very sexy and the asymmetrical hairstyle. That was an accident that happened — my hair got shaved off on one side. I got a bad perm and had to shave it off on one side. And that became a big hit to this day, with a lot of people — Rihanna, Cassie, etc.. People always say that’s the Salt-N-Pepa look.”
