When it comes to her kids, Summer Walker does not play. The R&B songstress might be booked and busy, but she’s always been clear about one thing. Her babies’ privacy comes first. So when her ex, Larry Williams (aka Lvrd Pharaoh), casually dropped an uncensored photo of their twin sons on Instagram, Summer’s fans lit up the internet like wildfire.

On Tuesday, April 22, Larry posted a sweet snapshot of his boys chilling outside. They are sitting around a couple of plastic bins filled with water and colorful toys, clearly enjoying some fun in the sun. Two of the children are toddlers, likely the twins Summer Walker shares with Larry Williams, and the third is an older child, possibly her daughter Bubbles. All three children are shirtless, and their expressions range from curious to happy.

Larry captioned the post, “Daddy spit y’all out,” with a blue heart and fire emoji.

But here’s the thing: Summer Walker had already shared that exact same photo on her IG Story hours earlier. However, she did what she always does: she slapped sunglasses emojis over the kids’ eyes, including her daughter Bubbles, whom she shares with London On Da Track. It’s believed to be part of Summer’s spiritual or protective practice, even if she’s never fully explained it publicly.

But Larry cropped Bubbles out and left the twins’ faces fully visible. That one move? It was enough to send social media into overdrive. Fans quickly noticed the post and started calling out Larry for disrespecting Summer’s boundaries.

Why, they asked, couldn’t he just follow her lead?

Within hours of backlash, Larry deleted the post, but by then, the internet had receipts, screenshots, and plenty of opinions. Some fans defended him, saying he’s their dad, too, and has a right to share. Others weren’t having it, reminding folks that co-parenting isn’t a free pass to ignore a mother’s wishes.

As for Summer, she hasn’t released an official statement, but she passed through the ShadeRoom to drop a facepalming emoji on the post. But her fans seem to be doing all the talking.

The message is clear: “Don’t post the kids if you’re not gonna protect them like their mama does!”
