The internet has been abuzz about a possible new relationship budding between singer Justine Skye and Afrobeats star Rema.
The rumors began after Skye and Rema were seen together partying the night away at her 28th birthday party in Israel. According to sources, the seen were spotted getting close and cozy at the party, prompting fans to believe they may be a couple.
In a recent video that has surfaced online, Rema is seen lighting candles on her birthday cake while she looks at him with a twinkle in her eye. Sources at the party further revealed that they couldn’t keep their hands off each other throughout the party, which hosted dozens of celebrities, including Yara Shahidi, Lori Harvey, Normani and Hailey Bieber.
People also noticed that this is not the first time Skye and Rema have been linked. In 2o21, the pair were seen out and about in London, although reports said at the time that they were collaborating on a project together.
Neither Skye nor Rema have confirmed the reports.
In 2019, Skye accused rapper Sheck Wes of abusing her, claiming that the Mo Bamba star, born Khadimou Rassoul Cheikh Fall, stalked the Roc Nation artist and assaulted her friends. He denied the allegations.
“We are actively investigating the allegations against Sheck Wes and are fiercely standing by him through this,” the Harlem rapper’s legal team said in a statement obtained by Rolling Stone. “He has denied any wrongdoing whatsoever or violence of any kind and we believe him. He will defend himself against this serious defamation of character with any and all legal remedies available and for now will leave this with the legal process. Sheck is a strong supporter of the rights and liberties of all people and is appalled by these wrongful allegations and attempts to assassinate his character. He will no longer sit by and allow these falsehoods to live on any further.”
