Nicki Minaj has become the latest celebrity who has underwent reduction surgery to lessen the size of her breasts.
On Sunday, the Red Ruby Da Sleaze rapper shared a video to her 222 million Instagram followers of her jamming to her latest collaboration Barbie World with fellow Bronx rapper Ice Spice.
After sharing the video, the Queens rapper noticed that fans were mentioning her smaller rack and confirmed their thoughts by commenting, “New boobs who dis?”
Last May, the 40-year-old Trinidadian-born star mentioned that she wanted to reduce her breast size to an A cup.
“You know what, somebody, I’m not gonna lie, somebody did tell me to get my boobs taken off, like a female in the industry,” she said on Instagram Live. “And I was like, ‘No, not yet.’ And yeah, she was right. I should’ve hurried up and took them off. A cup. It’s A cup season.”
The news comes on the heels of news Blac Chyna sharing with her Instagram followers that she was preparing to have her breasts and butt reduced as part of a “life-changing journey.”
The former stripper began the post detailing how doctors were going to remove her “a*s shots” while educating her 16 million followers about the difference between a BBL (Brazilian butt lift) and silicone injections. The latter, she said, is a decision she regrets.
“I just want all the ladies out there to know, do not get silicone shots because you can get sick, you can die, have complications and all this other crazy stuff,” Chyna said, adding that she first got the shots when she was 19.
She further added that she hopes the reduction of her chest and derriere will help take her to the “next level” and wants to change her “ways.”
In January, Queen Naija also admitted she regretted getting a BBL.
“I didn’t think it was going to do that much,” leaving commenters to weigh in on Instagram.
“I feel so bad for insecure women in this generation. Know your worth and love the skin you’re in. Nothing will make you perfect,” one commenter wrote after watching Queen Naija’s confession.
In June 2022, Cardi B said on Instagram Live that she had 95 percent of her butt shots removed over the summer.
And in March 2022, K. Michelle said that she needed to have 13 operations to recuperate from complications from botched butt shots procedures.
