Queen of daytime talk, Wendy Williams will be skipping promo for the upcoming season of “The Wendy Williams” show due to “ongoing health issues.”

“Wendy is dealing with some ongoing health issues and is undergoing further evaluations,” a post from @WendyShow on Instagram reads. “She will not be able to complete her promotional activities next week, but can’t wait to be back in her purple chair Monday, Sept. 20 for the 13th season premiere.”

In 2018, Williams announced that she had Graves’ disease. The disease causes an overproduction of thyroid hormones and can cause wide-ranging symptoms and affect overall health.

She opened up to People about the impact the disease has had on her life.

“I feel a hundred percent better than I was a few months ago. I had a storm going in my body is the best way I can explain it,” said Williams at the time. “It came from me neglecting my six month endocrinology appointment. I have Graves’ disease and hyperthyroid. If you have one you don’t necessarily have to have the other, but I have both, and I was diagnosed with both 19 years ago,” she added.

She also talked openly about the time she passed out on camera in her Halloween costume.

“Even in October when I passed out on Halloween, that particular day when the EMTs got there I had high blood pressure, which I never have high blood pressure,” she explained.

Willians says that while the show is an important part of her life, her health is much more important.

“I love doing the show, but I love me more. So I’m going to take care of me, so I can be there for them,” she shared.

We wish Wendy Williams a speedy recovery and lo
