Since news spread of Micheal Cohen’s plea deal, Omarosa Manigault Newman spills yet more tea during her promotional tour for her new book, Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.
Manigault Newman has now released a video of former Trump lawyer and close friend, Michael Cohen, boarding a campaign plane to ensure that Trump cannot claim that Cohen did not work for his campaign.
The footage was recorded around the same time, Trump ordered Cohen to pay porn star Stormy Daniels hush money to ensure that the details of his torrid affair would never see the light of day.
Yesterday, Aug. 21, Cohen pleaded guilty to eight counts which include five counts of tax evasion and one count of making a false statement to a financial institution.
“The first thing the President is going to say is that ‘Michael Cohen had nothing to do with the campaign, he was just a coffee boy, he wasn’t involved,’” Manigault Newman told MSNBC.
“The reason I wanted to share this with you is to, first of all, show you that he was in fact involved with the campaign. Not only was he involved, he organized this particular trip to Cleveland, he spoke at this event, and as you can see, he’s horsing around after, kind of, on the plane and he sat and met with the President during that trip.”
Since the release of her book, she has released two audio tapes. One of Chief of Staff John Kelly firing Manigault Newman in the Situation Room, warning her that things “could get ugly” if she did not play ball and leave quietly. The second tape was of a phone call with Lara Trump offering her a 15k a month job to keep quiet about her time in the White House.
