Blac Chyna celebrated one year and four months of sobriety by sharing a video of her progress on her Instagram account.
Last year, Blac Chyna, real name Angela White, opened up about her several lifestyle changes, including working out, reversing many of her cosmetic procedures (breast augmentation), and staying sober.
The reality star was vocal about the transformational period in her life, focusing on three things.
“For the last seven months, I told myself, I’m gonna focus on three things, so I put in my mindset: workout, sobriety, and the Bible. That’s it,” she explained in a conversation with PEOPLE.
Sharing her latest milestone, Blac Chyna posted a video of how her church welcomed her with inspiring messages of support.
In the footage, the former Rob & Chyna star walked into the huge hallway where little notes with huge numbers written on them were plastered onto the floor. Each number represented each month of Blac Chyna’s sobriety journey alongside cute words of encouragement.
Blac Chyna explained in the video, “So I just walked into the house and look at what they have put together for me. All these special notes for me for all the months of my sobriety.”
“Grateful for 1 year and 4 months of sobriety, 16 months of blessings. Thank you, God, for this journey to happiness,’ she captioned the video on Instagram.
Although the reality star had previously admitted that the “process is not easy,” she’s sure proud of herself for taking action and staying on course.
Celebrity colleagues and fans alike flooded the page to acknowledge her hard work and resilience.
“Let’s go! Proud of you always. I love you! Keep leading by example & being you. ❤️🙏🏾,” Derrick Milano wrote, while Womeninpoweric commented, “So proud of you! You can do it. I have been sober for 7 years! I believe in you!️”
