Over the weekend in New York, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky celebrated their son RZA’s second birthday. In party footage, Rihanna amusingly dangled RZA upside down.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky went out to throw a lavish celebration for their son RZA’s second birthday at Colour Factory in New York City on Saturday, May 11.
The exclusive event was graced by a select group of close friends and family, including notable figures like producer President Hitkidd and renowned makeup artist Jasmine B. Cook, popularly known as Jazzy B.
And nine months old Roit, the couple’s youngest child.
Jazzy B shared on her Instagram that RZA’s parents, Rihanna and the ‘L$D’ rapper, went all out for the celebration, complete with slides, a ball pit, and toys. She also showed off all of the adorable decorations, which included a banner that read “RZA’s 2ND BIRTHDAY” and vast cutouts of the toddler’s head.
As fans trooped to gush over the cute family photos and videos, everything seemed to be going great. Until cell phone footage from the party made internet users want to call Child Protection Services in Rihanna.
For holding her two-year-old son RZA upside down.
In a clip shared by Jazzy B, the Savage X Fenty founder holding RZA upside down while her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, stood on the side holding little Riot.
The “Umbrella” singer was seen in a silver strapless top and cargo pants, looking content and happy as she dangled her son by the feet, swinging gently.
Fans were appalled to see that Rihanna flipped her son upside down in the wild moment, with many questioning the 36-year-old’s parenting methods.
Others supported Rihanna, claiming the move is something “all parents do” occasionally.
Even with their hectic schedules, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky seem to prioritize parenting and treasure every moment they spend with their kids.
