Megan Thee Stallion needs help after her Hot Girl Summer Tour came to a screeching halt in Atlanta! And the leader of the Hotties is turning to none other than Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss for assistance.
The Hot Girl Sumer Tour concert was canceled for the second night because of Atlanta’s ongoing water problems.
Megan was supposed to perform on Saturday night at eight o’clock. At about 6:30 p.m., State Farm Arena announced the cancellation.
Due to the same water issues, which started in the afternoon and left a large portion of the city without water or with low water pressure, her first two-day show was canceled on Friday.
“After speaking with the Mayor’s office regarding the continued water leak issues affecting downtown Atlanta, the City of Atlanta is unable to accommodate the Megan Thee Stallion performance scheduled for tonight,” the arena posted on Facebook.
Megan hopped live to address her fans and apologize for the inconvenience and delay.
“We definitely have to have air and water up here because this is sold out. It’s packed. But this is what I’m thinking. Either we put pressure on the mayor to let him go ahead and let us perform up here, or we’re going to have to find another venue.
“At this point, I want all the Hotties in Atlanta to have a full Hot Girl Summer Tour experience,” Megan continued. “I want y’all to see the stage. I want to see all the effects. But I would rather give y’all a show. So I’m like maybe we can perform up at a theater or something. Like, I don’t know if any of the theaters out here are available.”
While brainstorming solutions during her video, the ‘BOA’ hitmaker started mentioning the names of Real Housewives Of Atlanta to come to her rescue.
“So I’m trying to find another venue… I don’t like letting my Hotties down. I don’t like not keeping my word, but we must be safe and sanitary.
“One of the housewives helped us. Kandi got the venue. Khandi, you know everybody. Khadi, where is the venue?” Megan shouted out.
As of now, the Houston rapper’s two-night stay in the city has been rescheduled for Sunday. The performance on Saturday has been moved to Monday.
