Andrea Shaw has made history yet again by securing her fifth consecutive Ms. Olympia title at the 2024 Ms. Olympia finals, held at Resorts World in Las Vegas.
The win on Oct. 11 solidifies her status as one of the most dominant forces in women’s bodybuilding today.
The competition was fierce, with Shaw facing a major challenge from Angela Yeo, who had previously defeated her at the 2024 Rising Phoenix contest.
However, Shaw came back stronger, reclaiming her place at the top and earning $50,000 along with automatic qualification for the 2025 Ms. Olympia.
Shaw’s victory was not just another notch in her belt— but proved her resilience. Top athletes such as Nadia Capotosto, Kristina Mendoza, and Theresa Ivancik were featured during the first and second callouts, but Shaw’s dominance was clear.
In the final callout with Angela Yeo and Helle Trevino, Shaw once again proved why she is the reigning queen of bodybuilding. Shaw claimed first place, followed by Yeo and Ashley Lynnette Jones.

Andrea Shaw’s journey to becoming a five-time Ms. Olympia champion is as inspiring as her dominance on the stage. Born on Dec. 18, 1983, in Detroit, Michigan, Shaw originally pursued gymnastics and cheerleading.
She even aspired to be a fashion model, but her height didn’t meet industry standards.
Encouraged by her mother, a nurse and former personal trainer, Shaw began weight training. Despite initial reluctance toward bodybuilding, her natural muscle-building abilities became undeniable. After earning her IFBB pro card in 2018, she quickly climbed the ranks, securing victories in the IFBB Omaha Pro and the Rising Phoenix World Championship.
Transitioning from the Figure division to Women’s Bodybuilding, Shaw embraced her full potential, winning the prestigious Ms. Olympia title in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and now 2024.
