Shamea Morton isn’t leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 without clearing the air. The newest full-time peach holder just dropped a public apology to her co-stars.

The peaches might’ve been bruised this season, but Shamea Morton is trying to smooth things out.

As The Real Housewives of Atlanta wrapped up Season 16 with Part 3 of the reunion, Shamea took a surprising step toward peace, offering a public and heartfelt apology to her co-stars. And yes, she named names.

“I just want to start by saying to all the ladies on the Sweet 16 cast… I’m sorry,” Shamea began. “Starting with Porsha, Drew, Angela, Brit, Kenya, Cynthia, Karli… If I missed anybody, I’m sorry. Phaedra, coming in, I’m sorry. If I’ve ever offended you, made you feel less than, or hurt you in any way, I’m truly sorry.”

The apology came after a rollercoaster debut season for Shamea as a full-time peach-holder. She came in hot, clashed with Drew Sidora, and had tense exchanges with Angela Oakley. However, the moment that stung viewers most was her fallout with longtime best friend Porsha Williams.

Turns out, the Porsha-Shamea tension wasn’t just about shady comments or missed phone calls. During the reunion, Porsha revealed the honest tea: their moms had beef. Apparently, both women’s mothers worked in childcare. But when one of Ms. Diane’s centers went into foreclosure, Shamea’s mom snatched up the property without a heads-up. Ms. Diane found out when she drove past the building and saw that her sign had been replaced by Mama Morton’s.

So yeah, a simple “I’m sorry” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

Still, Shamea’s apology felt genuine. And honestly, it’s rare to see a Housewife take accountability without throwing a little shade on the side. Fans online were split. Some applauded her growth, while others weren’t ready to move past the drama just yet.

The reunion episode itself was a rollercoaster. Kenya’s Hair Spa drama resurfaced, Angela tried and failed to drag Phaedra into the Marcus mess, and Shamea gave us a purse moment no one asked for. Meanwhile, the men joined the stage, and Charles came with the reads, lowkey roasting the entire cast.

But despite the drama, the tears, and the awkward moments, the cast somehow walked away from Season 16 with smiles. Maybe not besties, but definitely ready for the next round.
