Victoria’s Secret model and former America’s Next Top Model judge Jessica White has sparked conversation this week after sharing her controversial take on bisexuality.

In an interview with TMZ on March 4, Jessica White suggested that bisexuality is more socially acceptable for women than for men, raising questions about perceived double standards in sexuality.

During the discussion, Jessica White, 41, was first asked to name something that’s “fine when a girl does it but an ick when a guy does it.” She initially cited “baby talk” as a turn-off for men, but then pivoted to her thoughts on bisexuality. “I would also say it’s OK for a girl to kind of be bi, but if a man does it…” she trailed off, laughing. She later explained, “Double standards exist for all of us, right? But women have an ability to have more freedom to explore their sexuality, I believe.”

Jessica’s remarks quickly divided social media audiences. Some viewers argued that men should be able to explore bisexuality freely, while others supported her perspective. One Instagram user wrote, “People can do what they want, you don’t have to like it,” while another asked, “Why is it ok for a woman but not a man?”

The model has been open about her own experiences with nontraditional relationships. She previously discussed her polyamorous relationship with former partner Nick Cannon on a 2023 episode of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. White shared that she had been in an eight-year relationship where Cannon was allowed to see other women, but she was not. The two split in 2020.
