The New Jersey Black Women’s Collective (NJBWC) is now accepting applications for its 2025 Leadership Institute, a transformative program designed to empower Black women leaders across New Jersey.
Running from January to June 2025, the initiative equips participants with the tools and connections needed to thrive in their careers and communities. Applications are open until Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025.

Interested candidates can visit the NJBWC website to complete the application process. Ideal applicants include mid-level managers, aspiring directors, and professionals aiming to elevate their strategic and operational skills.
Program Highlights
In collaboration with Mercer County Community College (MCCC), the Leadership Institute offers 14 curated sessions focusing on:
- Leadership assessments and high-level instruction
- Workshops, panel discussions, and expert-led lectures
- Topics such as financial literacy, change management, workplace politics, and branding
New for 2025 are AI Exploration and Cyber Security Adventure sessions, preparing participants to navigate the challenges of an increasingly digital world.
A Legacy of Excellence
The program’s inaugural cohort graduated on June 8, 2024, showcasing capstone projects that reflected their growth and achievements.
The 2025 class will continue this legacy, presenting their projects and graduating at the Trenton Country Club on June 7, 2025.
