Blac Chyna is taking legal action ordering that the courts give her joint custody and child support for her 10-year-old son King Cairo, who she shares with rapper Tyga.

In a court filing obtained by The Blast, the 35-year-old mother of two filed the petition in July, seeking to secure joint legal and physical custody of their child.

The socialite and reality star, born Angela White, further outlined details about their son’s living situation, stating that she believes joint custody would be in the “best interest of the child.”

On social media, Tyga commented on a post about the news: “10 years later… nah… stick to ur schedule sat-mon.”

On the same post, Blac Chyna replied: “Lol.”

It was just days ago when the mother of two opened up about comments Khloé Kardashian made suggesting she wasn’t the best mother to her 6-year-old daughter, Dream, who she shares with Rob Kardashian.

Blac Chyna and Rob dated briefly but split in 2017 shortly after Dream was born. Following the high-profile breakup, the couple would become engaged in a nasty custody battle, but resolved their issues after they came to an agreement for shared custody of Dream in 2020. Blac Chyna then sued the Kardashians for defamation of character after Rob and Blac Chyna’s show was cancelled, although she lost the case.

Blac Chyna has since been on a transformative journey of healing. Enter Khloé, who made a comment some seemed as disparaging against Blac Chyna.

In an episode of The Kardashians that aired recently, Khloé called herself “a third parent” to Dream, adding that “Dream is like one of my babies too, just like all the rest of them.”

Fans took to social media to react to Khloé’s comments, prompting the reality star to make a statement on Instagram.

“It saddens me to see clickbait headlines that are taken out of context or twisted to be something it’s not,” she wrote. “I love ALL of my nieces and nephews more than I can express. Dream and I are particularly close. My brother and I are extremely close. I am with Dream all the time because I’m with my brother all of the time. I love her beyond measure.”

She further added that her daughter, True, 5, and Dream are “best friends. ALL of my nieces and nephews are my babies.”

“I hate how something so sweet as Dream’s 6th birthday is getting twisted,” she continued. “Rob is doing the best he can as a parent and in life. Angela is doing the best she can as a parent and in life. I am doing the best I can as a parent and in life.”

She continued: “We all want to move on from the negativity. The focus is on Dream and her happiness and making sure she feels unconditional love at her mommy’s house, her daddy’s house and any family members house for that matter.” She then urged fans to “stop pinning us against one another.”

After Khloé’s statement, Blac Chyna appeared on Entertainment Tonight to address the situation.

“You have to think, too, they’re so close, you know? Rob and Khloé. So of course Dream’s gonna be like [that] with True, you know what I mean? I feel like, you know, everybody was young [at the height of the drama],” White told ET. “[There’s] more things that we have to worry about, aside from that. [But] why have this feud when we gonna be family forever?”

She added: “Time heals everything, and people change, and situations change,” she said. “You get to see the situation for what it is, and the situation is Dream.”
