The young founder of Slutty Vegan, Pinky Cole-Hayes, has opened the thirteenth location of her plant-based burger joint, strategically choosing the campus of Spelman College in Atlanta.

This expansion in late 2023 follows the success of Slutty Vegan’s debut on Georgia Tech’s campus earlier in the year, showcasing the brand’s commitment to offering innovative and delicious plant-based options to college students.

In celebration of Slutty Vegan’s fifth anniversary, Cole-Hayes announced the exciting news on her Instagram, highlighting the brand’s expansion and its arrival on Spelman College’s campus during the move-in day for the new academic year.

Spelman College, renowned for its dedication to excellence, has recently updated its dining spaces and food offerings in partnership with Bon Appetit.

Among the new additions, Slutty Vegan stands out as a Black-owned vegan restaurant offering fresh, healthy, and responsibly sourced plant-based delights.

Pinky Cole-Hayes has achieved remarkable success in the burger business since launching Slutty Vegan in 2018.

What began as a venture making vegan burgers from her apartment has grown into a thriving chain with thirteen locations.

In addition to the Slutty Vegan chains, Cole-Hayes also owns Bar Vegan, an upscale restaurant located in Atlanta’s Ponce City Market.

Slutty Vegan’s expansion to Spelman College reflects a growing trend of plant-based dining options on college campuses and an increasing demand for innovative, sustainable, and flavorful vegan cuisine.

The latest location at Spelman College promises to be a vibrant and delicious addition to campus dining, offering students a convenient and enticing choice for their meals.
