Body Of 21-Year-Old Black Woman Found in Milton Marks 13th Mysterious Death in New England; Serial Killer Fears Grow

by Gee NY

The discovery of 21-year-old Adriana Suazo’s body in a wooded area of Milton, Massachusetts has heightened public fear that a serial killer may be targeting women across New England.

Suazo’s death is now the 13th unexplained death in remote or secluded locations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Maine since March.

According to Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey, Suazo’s body was found around 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 1, near 143 Central Avenue. There were no immediate signs of trauma, and the state’s Chief Medical Examiner is currently working to determine the official cause of death.

Suazo, a Boston native, had no known ties to Milton, leaving her family heartbroken and confused. Her sister told the Boston Globe that the last contact with Adriana was on May 29, four days before her body was discovered. Authorities are urging the public to share any sightings or information regarding her whereabouts between those dates.

A Pattern of Concern

Suazo’s tragic case adds to a growing cluster of mysterious female deaths throughout the region. In April alone, six bodies were recovered in various wooded or remote areas. Victims included:

  • Paige Fannon, 35, found in the Norwalk River (CT)
  • Denise Leary, 59, found in New Haven (CT)
  • Michele Romano, 56, whose body was recovered five days later

While online forums and community pages are flooded with speculation about a serial killer, law enforcement officials are urging caution. The Connecticut State Police issued a statement saying there is no current evidence connecting the cases and emphasized that there is “no known threat to the public at this time.”

Community Grieves as Family Seeks Justice

Suazo’s loved ones are devastated by the sudden and unexplained loss.

A GoFundMe created by her sister, Mel Loves, remembers Adriana as “a firecracker, full of life, laughter, and fierce love.” The fundraiser is nearing its $11,000 goal, with donations helping to cover her funeral expenses.

Investigators from the Massachusetts State Police continue to seek leads and have asked anyone with relevant information to call the Tip Line at 781-830-4990.

Though authorities have not formally linked the cases, the unsettling pattern has left many in New England on edge and demanding answers.
