Cardi B is officially launching a haircare line. The Grammy Award-winning rapper officially announced Grow Good Beauty, inspired by her famous DIY kitchen remedies and natural hair journey.
The “Am I the Drama?” rapper teased the upcoming launch of her brand, Grow-Good, a project she says has been years in the making.
“I’m gonna preview something that I have been working on for the past three years,” Cardi said in an Instagram Story before dropping the teaser video. “I’m so excited because this is my baby, it’s something that is very highly requested, and I’ve been working so long on it!”
In the teaser released on Instagram, the rapper appears in a lab coat, testing the product while flaunting her long, natural hair.
She then posted the video about the three-year process to bring Grow-Good to life, including glimpses of her own hair journey. “This is Belcalis, mother of four, walking down the block, being the baddest btch,” she says in the video voiceover. “I’m very passionate about this, and I really love this sht.” According to Cardi, the line will be “doing everything” for its customers. “We want b*tches’ hair to grow!” she says.
For years, Cardi B has shown fans exactly how she keeps her tresses flourishing. On her Instagram Stories, blender in hand, the Bronx rapper revealed the DIY home remedies she uses on her hair and her babies. Whether it was the famous avocado and mayo mask or her secret rice water rinses, Cardi has never gatekept her beauty secrets from the Bardi Gang.
After teasing us for what feels like forever, the wait is finally over. And we will be snatching Grow Good Beauty off the shelves real soon.
