In light of a resurfaced 2016 video showing Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly assaulting Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, Cassie has issued a heartfelt message to her supporters.

In a statement on Instagram, the singer and model expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and support she has received.

“Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet,” Cassie began. “The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning.”

Addressing the critical issue of domestic violence, Cassie highlighted its devastating impact on her life.

“Domestic Violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past,” she said.

Cassie also called for empathy and belief in victims, urging everyone to take their stories seriously from the start.

“Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously. My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in,” she stated.

Offering support to those still trapped in fear, Cassie said it is important to reach out and staying connected with them.

“I offer my hand to those that are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone,” she advised.

Cassie concluded with a note of ongoing resilience and gratitude:

“This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you. Love Always, Cassie.”

A 2016 surveillance video obtained by CNN shows Sean “Diddy” Combs violently grab, shove, drag and kick his then-girlfriend during an altercation in a hotel in California.

Meanwhile, a woman has come forward with allegations of rape against Diddy, adding to the mounting accusations against him.

According to TMZ, April Lampros has filed a lawsuit claiming that Diddy sexually assaulted her in the 1990s while she was a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

April’s attorney is also representing Rodney Jones and Liza Gardner in the lawsuits they filed against Diddy late last year. Additionally, he’s representing Grace O’Marcaigh who sued Diddy’s son, Christian Combs, alleging sexual assault.

The Lampros suit also comes on the heels of former model Crystal McKinney suing Diddy earlier this week for an alleged sexual assault in 2003.
