GloRilla has ignited a heated debate online after making controversial comments about men and cheating. In a recent interview, the rising star claimed that men are “programmed” to cheat and that they can love someone deeply while still engaging in infidelity.
In a new interview on Thursday, October 10, GloRilla revealed that she believes all men “can’t help themselves” from cheating.
With her unapologetic charm, the “TGIF” femcee boldly declared during a sit-down with Complex, “I honestly think men are programmed to cheat. I don’t think they are really trying to hurt your feelings. Like, they really just can’t help it.”
GloRilla continued, “I really think they can love you and cheat, though.”
The conversation took an intriguing turn when the host probed further, asking if the “GLORIOUS” artist believed there were no faithful men left. With characteristic confidence, she responded, “I feel like in certain parts of the world it is.”
However, when pressed about the situation in America, she was less optimistic, stating, “I feel like there’s some in America.” Glo, on the other hand, admitted to having feelings for the wrong people.
“I feel like the ones I like is none. So I need to change my type.”
GloRilla’s comments sparked a flurry of social media responses. Some fans have expressed support for her views, citing personal experiences and cultural stereotypes. Others have sharply criticized her statements, claiming that they are sexist and generalize an entire gender.
“There is no way someone can destroy your inner peace and still love you, idc what anybody says!,” a fan commented.
Another added, “Who did this to women. How did we get manipulated and brainwashed?”
A fan added, “She right. The ONLY thing that will keep a man, is a man that wanna be kept!!”
Another social media user wrote, “So they were programmed to cheat but ignored the programming to provide and protect?”
Do you agree with GloRilla?
