Olympic medalist Gabby Thomas has bravely spoken out about a terrifying ordeal of being stalked by a group of men at airports across the country. In a chilling TikTok video, the five-time Olympic track and field medalist detailed her encounters with the group, describing how they aggressively demand autographs and become hostile when she refuses.

Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas has raised alarm over a terrifying ordeal she’s been facing while traveling—repeated encounters with a group of men who she fears are stalking and harassing her at airports across the country.

The 28-year-old track and field champion took to TikTok to share her distressing experiences, revealing that the same group of three to six “middle-aged men” have been tracking her movements, waiting at her gates, and demanding she sign large stacks of photos. When she refuses, Thomas says they become “aggressive and hostile,” making her feel unsafe.

In a video message on TikTok on Tuesday, Jan. 28, the three-time gold pleaded for help.

“I need some advice right now because I fear I’m being stalked, and I genuinely don’t know what to do or who to go to. At this point, every time that I travel, I’m afraid that these men, it’s three to six of them, middle-aged, are going to show up and harass me.”

Thomas, the gold medalist in the women’s 200m final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, mentioned that numerous men arrive in various cities seeking her autograph on pictures of herself. “Around 40 of them,” she stated. And they have approached her outside the airport and at her departure gate within the terminal.

“They show up either at the front door of the airport, at the correct concourse or they show up at my gate, which means they have flight tickets and they get past security,” the Olympian disclosed to her followers.

Thomas said it “doesn’t matter” what city she travels to, the men always seem to know her itinerary. “They’ve come when I was traveling to and from Chicago, they’ve come when I’m traveling to and from Miami, and they have my flight information,” she said.

Thomas’s friends and fans replied to her video, expressing their sympathy for the harassment she was experiencing.

Tennis champion Coco Gauff also mentioned that she had a similar experience. “This happens to me, too,” said Gauff. “I don’t know how it happens. My theory is maybe someone at the airport tips them off.”

In a subsequent video, Thomas is at the airport filming a pair of guys, saying, “These guys are stalking me at the Chicago United Airport.”
Replying to a comment from her first video, she wrote, “I took this video once when they were following me past TSA. I’ll see who I can report it to. I’ll continue to take videos and pictures. It scared them away.”
