‘I Bit Into Somebody’s Molar’: Woman Hospitalized After Finding Teeth in Meat From Asian Market

by Gee NY

A disturbing food safety scare is lighting up social media after a woman says she found what appeared to be human-like teeth in a bowl of meat she purchased from an Asian market.

The incident has sparked intense online debate and left the woman hospitalized with confirmed food poisoning.

TikTok user @yallitssjusstay took to the platform to recount the horrifying experience after purchasing beef from a Texas-based Asian grocery store. But what started as an ordinary meal ended in shock, illness, and widespread speculation.

“I bit into somebody’s molar,” she said in a now-viral video. “I’m saying ‘somebody’ because I don’t know if this is an animal or a human in this bowl of meat.”

‘Am I a Cannibal?’

In the video, @yallitssjusstay shows what she claims are two full rows of teeth embedded in the meat, including a top and bottom jaw. Visibly disturbed, she questions whether she had unknowingly consumed human flesh.

“Am I a cannibal? Or is it carnival? What the f*** is the word?” she asks, clearly shaken.

She returned to the store seeking answers, but claims the store employees were dismissive and even tried to forcibly take back the meat.

According to her, the staff refused to let her speak to a manager and provided no clear explanation about what she had been served.

From Shock to Sickness

Soon after eating the meat, the woman reports becoming violently ill. She was hospitalized and diagnosed with food poisoning, adding another layer of concern to an already unsettling event.

While some internet users speculated the teeth might have come from a goat head, which is a traditional ingredient in some cuisines, others aren’t convinced.

“That didn’t look like goat. That looked human,” one commenter wrote.

“Even if it’s animal, why is it in a bowl with no warning?” another added.

So far, there’s no public statement from the grocery store or health authorities, but food safety experts are urging a formal investigation to determine the source of the contamination. If the teeth are confirmed to be human, it could lead to serious criminal and regulatory consequences under food safety and public health laws.

Under FDA guidelines and local health codes, foreign objects—especially human remains—in food products are considered gross contamination and may trigger recalls, fines, or facility closures.

Public Outcry Grows

The video has sparked calls for greater food transparency and accountability from specialty grocers and international food markets. Some are demanding the store be inspected, while others are cautioning against xenophobic overreactions.

“Let’s not jump to conclusions, but we do need answers,” wrote one user.

@yallitssjusstay is recovering and continues to post updates.

Whether this turns out to be a goat jawbone or something more sinister, the incident highlights a growing concern around consumer trust in food safety, and just how quickly it can be shattered by one bite.
