Jackie Aina’s collaboration with Crown Royal has sparked a $50,000 donation for the Black Girl Ventures Foundation through her FORVR Mood brand.
The partnership introduced a limited-edition candle named “Berry On Top,” inspired by Crown Royal’s new Blackberry blend, which debuted at the Crown Royal Blackberry Stand in Los Angeles in mid-June.
This collaboration not only showcased Aina’s creativity but also supported Black Girl Ventures Foundation’s initiatives.
The exclusive candle features a blend of blackberry, whisky accord, and vanilla notes, reflecting the essence of Crown Royal’s new offering. At the event, attendees learned about Black Girl Ventures Foundation’s work while enjoying signature cocktails and exploring Aina’s new creation.
Aina expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating:
“Partnering with Crown Royal was a no-brainer for me, especially after seeing the excitement around their new Blackberry Flavored Whisky and knowing they support a cause dear to my heart with Black Girl Ventures. I’m thrilled to collaborate with a brand that aligns with my values.”
Crown Royal’s commitment includes a $50,000 donation to the Black Girl Ventures Foundation, with half allocated to support the BGV Pitch Program. The FORVR Mood website also affirms its ongoing dedication to the organization.
Hadley Schafer, vice president of Crown Royal, praised their new Blackberry blend as “one of our most flavorful yet,” highlighting its availability nationwide for a limited time at $26.99 for a 750mL bottle.
Priced at $42, the “Berry On Top” candle represents more than just a fragrant product; it symbolizes a commitment to promoting inter-generational wealth and advancing equity in society.
