Jennifer Lopez is taking a break from the spotlight this summer, announcing the cancellation of her much-anticipated “This Is Me… Live” tour.
The 54-year-old superstar broke the news in her On The JLo newsletter on May 31, sharing her heartfelt decision with fans.
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” Jennifer wrote. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time.”
Representatives for LiveNation confirmed the tour’s cancellation, stating that J.Lo is “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.”
Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds, Jennifer assured in her post.
This announcement comes amid ongoing speculation about her and husband Ben Affleck’s relationship.
A source revealed to Access earlier this month that the couple had been living apart, sparking rumors.
However, they have recently been seen together at family events, including the high school graduation of Ben’s oldest child, Violet, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The gossip intensified after Ben’s absence from the Met Gala on May 6, where Jennifer was a co-chair.
The now-canceled tour was set to follow her “This Is Me… Now” album and a cinematic original that partly chronicles her rekindled romance with Ben.
The couple showcased their affection at the project’s red carpet premiere in February and collaborated on a making-of documentary titled “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.”
Jennifer and Ben, who famously rekindled their romance nearly 20 years after calling off their original engagement, tied the knot in 2022.
