JT isn’t mincing words when it comes to defending her partner, Lil Uzi Vert. The City Girls rapper has spoken out against online critics who have been harsh about Uzi’s recent fashion decisions, claiming that the negativity stems from racial bias.

When it comes to pushing boundaries in fashion and self-expression, few artists do it quite like Lil Uzi Vert. The Philadelphia rapper has never been one to conform to societal norms, and his latest look at the Marc Jacobs Runway Show held at the New York Public Library in Bryant Park was no different.

The rapper attracted attention with a spiky, goth-inspired hairstyle paired with multiple facial piercings, a striking white sequined purse from Marc Jacobs, and an attitude that led some fans to wonder about his mental state.

But while critics took to social media to voice their disapproval, Uzi’s partner, City Girls rapper JT, came to his defense with a fiery response that’s got everyone talking.

JT, evidently irritated by the criticism, tweeted, “If Uzi was white, nothing he does would bother yall miserable ass n****s!” Her angry retort didn’t end there. When one commenter accused Uzi of participating in “white people stuff,” she responded, “What is white people stuff? Lazy fat bitch? Do you know your own history, stupid pigeon!”

Another comment claimed Uzi straightened his hair and had piercings because he was engaged in “goth devil worshiping shit.” JT was having none of it, saying, “I ain’t ask no n***a who smokes blunts down to it burns his black ass lips a fuck thing!”

JT has defended Uzi on social media numerous times before. One such event follows the publication of the PINK TAPE, where numerous online users criticized how the project was presented on streaming services.

“Y’all btches are annoying. Every day looking new ways to make ppl come at him,” she wrote before adding another post, “Get off his dck. Sht dropped over a year ago bored as b*tches.”

Another time, she defended her boyfriend’s belly button piercing in 2022 on social media, writing, “That’s BEEN his aesthetic before me. I guess this side more tuned in, but let me tell y’all something he a black rockstar that does what he wants!”

Regardless of the discourse, JT isn’t letting anyone come for her man without a fight. And as for Lil Uzi Vert? He continues to do what he does best—ignore the noise and unapologetically be himself.
