In the clip, Harris playfully asks, “Do you know them?” to which Usher and another individual respond, “No…but in the club, we are all fam.” Harris, seemingly surprised, replies with a confused, “What?”

The video has since been shared over 79,000 times, garnered 1.5 million likes, and accumulated millions of views. The viral moment comes amid Usher’s active support of Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign.

On Oct. 19, 2024, Usher made an appearance at a “Get Out the Vote” event in Atlanta, Georgia, where he expressed his admiration for Harris.

“I love you more,” he said in response to a fan’s shout, “but I love Kamala Harris even more.”

Usher, who took a brief pause from his Past Present Future Tour to campaign in his hometown, spoke about the importance of this election and the need to support Harris.

“She fights for everyone’s rights, for freedom, and it doesn’t matter where you’re from,” Usher said during his speech. “She has a vision for our country that includes everyone… But we got work to do. Atlanta, ATL, we got work to do to get this campaign across the finish line.”

The singer urged voters to take action in the final weeks leading up to the election, stressing the impact of their voices on future generations.

“Everything we do within the next 17 days will affect the lives of our children, our grandchildren, and the people we love the most,” Usher stressed.

Earlier that day, Lizzo joined Harris for a similar event in Detroit, where they both celebrated the resilience of the city and encouraged voter participation.
